Gemma Hooper shows
Born into an entertainment family, Gemma has always had a love for radio. Following in her father Paul’s (former 3WBC President) footsteps, she has been a beloved member of the radio station’s family for over a decade.
Gemma joined 3WBC’s football commentary team in 2019 as a boundary rider, and has now filled her rotating roles to include broadcast host, play-by-play commentary and special comments. A lifelong Box Hill and Hawthorn Hawks tragic, she is thrilled to be bringing the local and distant listeners along to Box Hill Hawks VFL and Hawthorn AFLW games through the airwaves.
On a Monday night during the summer season, Gemma is a co-host of Balls and All along with Fletch and Stuart where you can hear all the local and national sports news with a few laughs and amazing interviews along the way.
When Gemma isn’t bringing you all things sport on 3WBC she can be found working in freight management during the week and playing cricket and hockey on the weekends.
