Every Wednesday from 7am, Greg King hosts this lively mix of 70’s, 80’s and 90’s classic hits and entertainment news. Greg interviews musicians, guest presenters and playwrights. The show also celebrates birthdays of musicians and features music from our Featured Flashback Year, #1 hits, classic albums and new music. Jazz For Lunch seeks to maintain the tradition set by Max Chadwick and Peter Edwards, and more recently Terry Phibbs, to provide listenable and enjoyable jazz for this prime time slot. The music, which frequently highlights our world class Australian jazz, includes the New Orleans, Dixieland, Big Band Swing, Be Bop, Cool, Hard Bop and Jazz Fusion periods, showing influences of Latin, Classical and Pop / Rock. A little history and background is thrown in and the aim is always to entertain and lift the spirits while appealing to listeners from the jazz world as well as a wider audience. Accordingly, some areas of jazz that would appeal to aficionados are not suitable for this program.

Beginning in 2007, Community Corner is a program designed to keep listeners informed about news, events, history and the achievements of residents and local organisations. It mainly focuses on the Whitehorse-Boroondara and Monash areas, but also includes other areas such as Manningham and Knox. Community Corner also features a wide variety of music to accompany the subject matter; including classical, soundtracks, country and rock.

Mostly Folk, Fun & Friends focuses on Australian performers in the folk genre featuring music, poetry, artist interviews and CD launches. The show includes folk event news. Julie Melia and Aine McAllister are among Michael’s regular guests.
